The Big Swing Golf Tournament powered by PNC aims to provide an elevated golf experience, creating a great opportunity to connect and build relationships with fellow participants, stakeholders, and clients, while supporting Sport Oregon's mission to drive economic impact and enhance the quality of life for all Oregonians through sport.

The Big Swing Golf Tournament is a competitive shamble format with each team having a Sport Oregon Celebrity ambassador.

SCHEDULE:

10:00 AM - Noon: Registration, Player Gift Distribution, Boxed Lunch, Driving Range, Putting Green, Raffle and Silent Auction 

12:05 PM: Call to Carts

12:10-12:20 PM: Welcome announcements from Jim Etzel, Sport Oregon CEO, & J.T. Hutchinson, Regional President for Oregon/SW Washington from presenting sponsor PNC.

12:25 PM: Return to Carts

12:30 PM: Tee Time - Shot Gun Start

5:30-6:00 PM: Turn in Scorecards

6:00-7:30 PM: Dinner, Cocktails, Awards, and Silent Auction

The tournament will feature fun competitions and prizes, including:

  • KPs on holes 3 and 13
  • $10,000 Hole in One Competition on hole 8 presented by Chasing Aces
  • Longest Drive on hole 18
  • Straightest Drive on hole 10
  • A porcupine game (pins stay in the three holes, and you pick which hole to play off based on your shot)
  • Rory McIlroy’s Drive for $100 on hole 6
  • Putting competition
  • Chipping competition

In addition to a fun day of golf, there will be a silent auction featuring donations from Portland Gear, adidas, Delta Airlines, Portland Timbers, and more, and don't miss the 50/50 raffle, where one lucky winner takes half the prize money, while the other half supports the Sport Oregon Foundation.
